EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - A woman died during a shooting in East Cleveland Wednesday afternoon.
East Cleveland police said they were called to the 1800 block of Garfield Road at about 3 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they found the woman lifeless, according to a news release from East Cleveland police. The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities have identified the woman as 18-year-old Dena-jua Delaney.
Police said they do not have any suspects or a motive for the shooting at this time.
