ASHLAND, Ohio - In Ashland, the family of Nate Summerfield is still not speaking. NewsChannel5 went to the home of Summerfield's parents and briefly spoke with a relative.

Other members of the family have been visiting Summerfield's parents, but the family would not speak to the media Saturday.

Meanwhile, at Nate Summerfield's home, neighbors said they're doing their best to help Lynn Jackenheimer's family with the search in Ashland. The sight of hanging purple ribbons continues to grow throughout the town. Friends even hung a purple ribbon on Nate Summerfield's front railing.

"As a neighborhood, we didn't know Nate. We didn't know much about him as far as who he was, so we were just in shock and devastated and just - still can't believe it. Still can't believe that there's nothing, like we're just left empty wondering what's going on," said Heather Arangelovich.

Arangelovich lives a few doors down from Summerfield's home and said she went to high school with Lynn Jackenheimer. Arangelovich a several others gathered to hang the purple ribbons throughout their block on Dorchester Street. Arangelovich says they're also encouraging neighbors to check their properties and wooded areas as the search for Lynn Jackenheimer continues.

Anyone with information on Nate Summerfield's whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately.
