ASHLAND, Ohio - Captain Carl Richert with the Ashland County Sheriff's Office confirms deputies have the cellphones belonging to missing Ashland mom Lynn Jackenheimer and her ex-boyfriend, Nate Summerfield, as well as surveillance video of Summerfield in a car.
Summerfield is considered a person of interest in the case.
Deputies found Summerfield's cellphone in the city of Ashland, but wouldn't say where. Richert also couldn't comment on where Jackenheimer's phone was found, but told NewsChannel5 officials are working to see if it will help in the case.
Lynn's mother and stepfather were in tears, begging Nate to come forward with information about their daughter. Nate's mother said their 3-year-old woke up crying Tuesday, asking for his mother. Ashland County deputies are also working with a mental health professionals to try and get Jackenheimer's 13-year-old daughter, who has autism, to talk and help them figure out some sort of timeline.
The sheriff's office also has surveillance video in their possession. According to Richert, it shows Summerfield driving a 2009 dark metallic gray four-door Honda Civic at an Ashland Bank around 10 a.m. Sunday.
Richert said the video isn't too helpful for investigators because it only shows sections of the car. The video does show Summerfield driving the vehicle.
According to the sheriff's office, there are still no leads in the case. Police in North Carolina will resume their search for Jackenheimer Tuesday using search dogs and a helicopter in Nags Head.
Last week, Jackenheimer went missing after she took a vacation to North Carolina with Summerfield, her ex-boyfriend.
According to police, Summerfield returned to Ashland and dropped Jackeheimer's two children off with his family. He hasn't been seen since.
