CLEVELAND - Camille's birthday has come and gone -- my baby is 5-years-old! According to Camille, she is a 'big girl!" Well, she isn’t a baby anymore, that’s for sure. It seems like it happened overnight.
I can’t remember what I had for breakfast or what I did yesterday, but there are moments of her young life that are etched in my mind. The first time I held her -- her first smile -- her first words.
We marked Camille's fifth birthday by going to a magical place in Florida, Disney World. Family vacations are important to us and so is spending time together -- just the three of us, bonding and making memories.
Somebody once told me, “The days are long, the years are short." I couldn’t agree more. Camille is growing up far too fast and right before my eyes.
Thanks to all of you who have been loyal readers since before she was born. I guess it's time to change the name of my blog now...
xoxo,
Tracy
