CLEVELAND - Christmas time is here and I'm loving it. It is my favorite time of the year because it brings families and friends together to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. People focus on peace, love and joy. Christmas carols can be heard in the stores, on the radio, maybe in your shower in the morning.
Tuesday, I started to think about my favorite Christmas toy. It's a doll that I absolutely adored. The original Baby Alive. I know some of you remember the doll that ate and drank and pooped! She had diapers and baby food that you mixed with water.
I can remember thinking I really had a baby and it was my responsibility to take care of it. And if you had this doll, you know that some of the food would get stuck in the doll and you had to rinse her out. If you didn't, things would start to grow and a strong, pungent odor would fill the air... if you get my drift.
Santa put a huge smile on my face by placing her under my Christmas tree. I remember being so excited to hold her and feed her. I also liked to play in her hair. To me, she was the prettiest doll in the world.
So what was your favorite Christmas toy? Leave your comments below.
Happy Holidays!
