It's been some time since I've been able to say this so "Let's Get Catty." I am so happy to introduce to you two felines who are really celebrities in their own minds.
Meet Otto and Lucy. According to their parents, Ann and Dave, they are best friends who own the house where they let their parents stay. Otto and Lucy's main mission in life is to catch mice and wake up their parents way too early in the morning. That's a pretty interesting job description. And since there are no mice in the home, this dynamic duo is demanding a pay raise and a daily 30 minute back rub.
You may be wondering how Ann and Dave came up with their names. Well, they decided to name their cats after characters in their favorite comedy movies. Otto, the white cat, is named after Otto West from "A Fish Called Wanda." Lucy, the brown cat, is named for Lucy Warriner from "The Awful Truth." Now you see why these two have so much personality. Maybe too much sometimes.
Yes, these cute kitties keep Ann and Dave on their toes. But , Otto and Lucy better watch out. I've heard there's a new four-legged creature that's taking over the house. The feline frenzy may be coming to an end... There's a new canine in town. Hmm.
Sounds to me like a candidate for " The Ruff Report." Stay tuned.
