CLEVELAND - Her picture has been displayed throughout the Cleveland area since her mysterious disappearance six years ago.
Now, minor league baseball fans throughout North Central Pennsylvania will also see Gina DeJesus every time they look at the Williamsport Crosscutters' team photo.
Former baseball player Dennis Bair has been enlisting the help of minor league teams to display the photos of missing children on their team photos. Gina's photo is the sixth.
Bair got the idea when he ran across an old photo of former Pittsburgh Steeler Rocky Bleier and realized team photos don't get tossed in the trash like flyers and milk cans.
"I'm trying to bring hope to parents of missing children," Bair said.
Gina's mother Nancy Ruiz will travel to Williamsport, Pennsylvania Tuesday for the 7:05 p.m. game between the Crosscutters and the Connecticut Tigers.
"I think it's awesome," Ruiz said. "Another way of me getting my baby out there."
