BOARDMAN, Ohio - A man was arrested last week after investigators allegedly found 4.5 pounds of marijuana laced Rice Krispie treats in his vehicle.
Patrick Altier, 22, of Boardman, Ohio, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and trafficking of marijuana. He was also charged with OVI, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Troopers found the drugs after a crash last Thursday on Western Reserve Road in Boardman, east of Market Street, the release said.
During the crash investigation, troopers said noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from Altier’s vehicle, and then found the drugs while searching the car.
Altier was being held in the Mahoning County Jail and could face up to 10 years in prison if convicted of the crime.
