MADISON, Ohio - The Central Congregational Church of Madison took on a unique project: Refurbishing a house using mostly the congregation to do the work.
Initially, some church members questioned why the congregation would undertake such a project, but they moved forward and the entire church is proud and glad they did.
The proceeds from the sale of the home will be divided in half: One half will go to missions locally and abroad, the other will go toward improvements to the Central Congregational Church.
The home is on Argyle Drive and is listed by Remax. The asking price for the three bedroom, one and a half bath home is $114,000.
