CLEVELAND - Cleveland State University was the host of a free public forum on Wednesday morning to discuss how health disparities' research can re-shape social policies to benefit all citizens in the Greater Cleveland community.
The event was held at the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs in partnership with The Center for Community Solutions.
The forum touched on topics such as health disparities between minority populations and majority populations in cases such as disease, rates of mortality, and differences in health care utilization.
Forum participants also talked about how decisions of governments and corporations can shape policies that affect these health disparities.
