Limited offer to get in the pirate spirit and get free donuts at northeast Ohio Krispy Kreme stores

CLEVELAND - If you were planning on dressing up as a pirate for Halloween, you may want to break out that costume early.

Wednesday is Talk Like a Pirate Day, and participating Krispy Kreme stores have a limited one-day offer for customers.

The stores will give away one free glazed donut to anyone who walks in talking like a pirate.

But there is a way to get a full box of free donuts. Those people must walk into the store in full pirate getup.

Participating northeast Ohio locations include Akron and Middleburg Heights.

Be careful how realistic your costume is - weapons, like swords and daggers, are not allowed in the stores.
