CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio - The 2010 Lilith Fair makes a stop at Blossom Music Center on Tuesday and NewsChannel5 will keep you close to the music and fun. Keep your eyes right here on newsnet5.com beginning at 2:30 p.m. to follow our blog from Blossom. We'll let you know what's happening on stage and in the park, from artist performances to behind-the-scenes exclusive insight.
6:15 p.m. Marie Digby just wrapped up her acoustic set at the ABC Music Lounge. She is now hanging out with her fans and passing out free CDs.
6 p.m. Lee Jordan just wrapped up her live interview with Sarah McLachlan. They spoke about the importance of tours like Lilith and the diversity of music at the tour.
5:50 p.m. That ends all the acts in the Village section of the Lilith Tour. The main stage is now the focal point. However, the ABC Music Lounge right next our booth does have a performer just beginning: Marie Digsby.
5:45 p.m. The lead singer of Lights just emphatically thanked the audience. "This is a great day for women and music, for women and everything. This is a great day to be a woman." She announced that they were going to play "River" and the crowd broke into cheers.
5:25 p.m. Lights, the final act in The Village section, has taken the ABC Stage. The lead singer just stated that this tour has been really special because it's the first time at a concert, where as a woman, she is not a minority. Coming up on the Main Stage; 5:50 Serena Ryder--6:40 Sara Bareilles--7:40 Court Yard Hounds--8:50 Mary J Blige--10:00 Sarah McLachalan
4:55 p.m. Anjulie's set just ended on the ABC Stage and, immediately on The Village Stage, Zee Avi began playing. It looked liked an ocean wave of people as they went from one end of the grounds to the other.
4:30 p.m. We gave out 1,000 fans in less than 1 hour. It's a toasty summer afternoon in Cuyahoga Falls. Current temperature: 82 degrees. --Meteorologist Christine Ferreira
4:25 p.m. Anjulie is starting their set on the ABC stage. It's quite a site to see everyone shift from one end of the lot to the other in a matter of moments to see the acts. It's a really tight operation here. Within a minute of one act finishing the next group is starting. Our line at the NewsChannel5 tent is once again about 100 people deep. They are in line to meet Pete, Christine, and Jenn.
4 p.m. In an hour and a half, we passed out 1,000 hand held electric fans to guests of the Lilith Tour. The heat definitely added interest to receiving them. Right now, the crowd is gathered around the Village stage to watch a performance from Butterfly Boucher. So far, it's a nice crowd, a good atmosphere and really good music.
3:55 p.m. The third act of the day, Butterfly Boucher, has just took the stage. Fans are commenting on how good everybody is sounding.
3:35 p.m. Nicki Jean has taken the stage right next to our booth on the ABC Stage. The crowds are gathered on the ground in front of the stage and a group of girls are sitting at a picnic table playing cards. We got bribed by another booth. We received a handful of Luna Nutrition bars for a couple fans. The line for the fans is the longest line here.
3:30 p.m. I'm meteorologist Jason Nicholas. It's a great afternoon out here at Blossom Music Center for Lilith Tour. Mostly sunny skies, a few puffy, fair weather cumulus clouds dot the sky. Temperatures are in the middle 80s and the humidity is increasing a bit. If you're heading out later today, expect readings in the 70s with mainly clear skies.
The crowds have steadily increased through the afternoon, especially at the NewsChannel5 tent where we're giving away free fans! If you make the trip to Blossom, please stop by and say hello. Lee, Pete and Christine are joining me out here today.
3:25 p.m. Good Morning Cleveland's Christine Ferreira and Pete Kenworthy are signing autographs at the booth. Jason Nicholas is here also, getting ready for his live weather forecast for Live on Five.
3:20 p.m. We asked two ladies to describe the atmosphere here and they replied: "We're really excited. The camaraderie here among all the girls is just great. There are some guys here, but they probably just got dragged here by the boyfriends. We ditched work to be here and it is well worth it."
3:15 p.m. Kate Tucker is performing her last song now, but don't worry her band will be back in Summit County Sept. 3.
3:05 p.m. Pete Kenworthy and Jason Nicholas are both here at the Channel 5 booth and the ladies are lining up! Great music underway, tons of women AND men here for the fun and best of women in music. Couples, families have traveled from near and far to be a part of this event. See it all on NewsChannel5!-- Lee Jordan
3:02 p.m. Kate Tucker is jamming right now. Everybody is having a blast.
3 p.m. Good Morning Cleveland's anchor Pete Kenworthy and his wife, Julie, have just arrived at the booth. He just sat down to sign autographs and take pictures with the concert fans.
2:50 p.m. The first act, Kate Tucker, is getting ready
