MEDINA, Ohio - A former Medina youth football coach's sentencing on theft charges Monday following an exclusive 5 On Your Side investigation detailing missing funds from team has been delayed.

Michael Butts, former president and coach of the Median Bees Youth Football program, was scheduled to appear in a Medina County courtroom, where he pleaded guilty to charges earlier this year, Monday at 9 a.m. He was in the courtroom, but the judge delayed the hearing until Dec. 26.

Our exclusive investigation in May 2011 revealed complaints from parents who questioned how thousands of dollars in cash raised for registration fees and uniforms were being spent.

Butts denied any wrongdoing in an exclusive interview but later pled guilty to theft charges.
