AKRON, Ohio - Kenny Reymann loved his pet boxer-shephard mix. Charlie was his name. He was one of three canine kids Reymann was raising at his Summit County home.
Charlie became ill in April 2011 and died after alleged mistreatment by a woman police said claimed to be a veterinarian. Brandi Tomko turned her self into police and faces numerous charges including animal cruelty and practicing without a license.
Tomko was treating pets at C&D Animal Hospital on 1474 Brittain Rd. in Akron. The hospital is now closed. Investigator Sarah Buduson has been looking into this case for two months. You can see more of what she found by clicking here .
Reymann produced this special song and video montage in memory of Charlie. He gave us permission to post this on our website and share with other pet lovers.
