MEDINA, Ohio - A teacher at Highland High School died Friday morning, school officials have announced.
The district announced the news with a message on its website .
“ Dear Highland Staff and Families,
We are sorry to inform you that Cindy Dutt, English teacher at the High School, passed away unexpectedly on Friday morning. Cindy has been a teacher in the District for the past 9 years and has touched many lives at Highland.
Her son, Andrew, is also a teacher at the High School. Grief counselors are available at the High School for staff and students in need. Please keep the Dutt family in your thoughts and prayers.
Calling hours will be private (family only) and the funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 13 at Wadsworth United Methodist Church, 195 Broad St., Wadsworth, 44281."
