Former local firefighter murdered

Alliance police are investigating the murder of a former firefighter.
James Leeson, 66, was found stabbed to death in his home Thursday morning.
Leeson’s car was later found on fire in Lexington Township.
Police believe the killer drove it there after committing the crime.
Authorities have not identified a motive for the murder.
An autopsy takes place Friday.
