CLEVELAND - Former Buckeye Troy Smith was stopped in downtown Cleveland Friday night – and it wasn’t for an autograph.
Cleveland Police say that Smith was stopped at W.9 th and Main Avenue for a traffic violation.
Officers found out during a check that Smith has an outstanding warrant for Driving Under Suspension.
Police placed the Heisman Trophy winner under arrest.
