CLEVELAND - A female was stabbed on the city's east side early Wednesday morning.

According to Cleveland EMS, the call came in around 1:30 a.m. and crews responded to the 2300 block of East 59th Street.

EMS and police arrived on scene and located a woman with a stab wound to the chest.

EMS transported the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center in unknown condition.
