CLEVELAND - Cleveland police have arrested a 31-year-old man in a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday morning on the city's east side.
A woman was shot near East 93rd Street and Kinsman Road.
Fourth district police officers responded to a call just after 4:30 a.m. and located the unresponsive victim inside her home with a gunshot wound.
Officers arrested the suspect and confiscated a firearm when they arrived at the scene.
The victim was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where she died.
Witnesses said the suspect was at the address with the victim and other people, went outside to smoke, went back inside and began shooting.
The name of the victim will be released when the next of kin have been notified.
