CLEVELAND - The woman found dead and bloody in a house on Cleveland’s east side was stabbed 65 times, the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office said.
Cleveland police were called to an apartment on East 69th Street, between Chester and Euclid Avenues, at about 4:20 a.m. Tuesday morning. Police said the victim was lying in the first-floor landing.
The medical examiner’s office identified the woman as 31-year-old Jessica Harrell. She suffered 65 stab wounds to her head and trunk.
A 52-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
