MACEDONIA, Ohio - A woman accused of knocking down an 82-year-old woman at a local Giant Eagle before stealing her money has been arrested.
Summit County Sheriff's detectives said the 82-year-old woman was robbed on Aug. 5 at the Giant Eagle on East Aurora Road in Macedonia.
The victim was knocked to the ground and was injured during the robbery. Bystanders intervened and fended off the attacker. They were able to give the sheriff's office a description of the robber and her vehicle.
On Wednesday, a deputy noticed a car and driver in Northfield Center Township that matched the description given to them from the Macedonia robbery.
Kimberly Tromski, 43, of Uniontown, was then arrested and charged with robbery and felonious assault.
