CLEVELAND - It's time to splash, swim, and stay cool. On Saturday, Cleveland opened the city's pools.
At a morning ceremony, Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson kicked off the 2012 outdoor pool season. All outdoor pools in Cleveland are now open Wednesday through Sunday from noon until 7:30 p.m.
However, when temperatures reach 85 degrees or higher on Mondays and Tuesdays, the city will open outdoor pools those days as well.
City spray basins will also open when temperatures reach 80 degrees and above. Indoor pools are open Monday through Saturday from noon until 7:30 p.m. year-round.
