Wife of NewsChannel5 reporter John Kosich, Stacey Frey of Fox 8, reveals she has breast cancer

CLEVELAND - The wife of a NewsChannel5 reporter has revealed she has breast cancer.

Stacey Frey, who is a reporter at WJW-TV Fox 8 and married to John Kosich, told viewers on television Tuesday morning that she is going to be leaving work for a while to fight the disease.

Frey said she is going to have surgery on Wednesday.

John was by her side during the announcement.

"The support I've had is helping me get through this all," said Frye.

Frey and Kosich have a son, Aidan.
