CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating another round of violence in Cleveland.

One man was shot and killed, another man was stabbed to death and two men were shot in three unrelated incidents overnight.

At about 12:47 a.m. Sunday, Cleveland police were called to the 7700 block of Garden Valley Avenue in Cleveland for a report for a man shot. Officers on scene were told that the victim was taken to St. Vincent Charity Hospital by a private vehicle. The 29-year-old victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died from his injuries.

Police said the victim, who was identified as Reshawn Foster, was walking toward the suspect’s vehicle when the suspect fired multiple shots. The suspect is a black man, but no other description was available. He may be driving a silver, 4-door vehicle. No arrests have been made.

In another incident, a 36-year-old man was stabbed to death in the area of East 131st and Miles Avenue. Cleveland Police were called to the area of East 131st Street and Miles Avenue at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday for a man stabbed. Officers found a man stabbed multiple times in his upper torso. The man, William Lane, of Cleveland, was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Police said Lane was arguing with a man known as “D” over an alleged debt that “D” owed to Lane. The argument escalated into a physical altercation. During the fight, the suspect stabbed Lane multiple times and fled the area.

The suspect is a 5’7’’ black man, who goes by the alias of “D.” Police have been unable to locate him.

Just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday, two men were shot while sitting in a car near East 55th Street and Woodland Avenue. Both men walked into MetroHealth Medical Center. One of the men told police that a black man shot at them, but the victims were not able to give any further description of the suspect.

Seven people were also shot, one fatally, in six separate incidents late Friday night and early Saturday morning.

Police were called to the 12000 block of Union Avenue at 9:43 p.m. Friday for a report of a fight. Officers arrived to find a 33-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs and abdomen. The man was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died.

The victim, who has not been identified, was reportedly arguing with five men before he was shot. After being shot, the victim ran inside the Union Beverage store. Police are looking for five black men related to this incident.
