CLEVELAND - The man shot and killed early Friday morning on Hecker Avenue in Cleveland has been identified.
Michael Bruist, 21, from Cleveland, died Friday, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s office.
Bruist was walking a dog with a 22-year-old man before 4 a.m. Friday when the two were approached by three men who attempted to rob them.
Bruist was shot in the chest; the other man was shot in the arm. Both men were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where Bruist died from his injuries.
Maurice Golden, 20, from Euclid and O’Neal Crenshaw, 35, from Cleveland have both been charged with Aggravated Murder. They are expected to appear in court Monday morning.
