CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are searching for a suspect after a veteran was shot near E. 90th Street and Hough Avenue Sunday morning.
Police responded to the call for help to the VA Hospital for a man that had been shot. Charles Hobbs, 62, of Cleveland, was shot in the lower part of his body.
Hobbs told police he didn't know who the suspect was or which direction the person fled.
The victim has since been transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center.
The Cleveland Division of Police is asking that anyone with information about this incident contact the Third District Detective Bureau at 216-623-5318. Anonymous information can also be given to Crime Stoppers by calling 216-252-7463.
