CLEVELAND - Smoke could be seen for blocks from a house fire on Cleveland’s east side.
Cleveland fire officials said a vacant house at East 55th Street and Cedar Avenue was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived. The fire investigation team was out at the scene and the fire is considered a $100,000 loss.
A NewsChannel5 photographer at the scene said the three-story house appeared to be boarded up before the blaze.
Cleveland fire spokesman Larry Gray said the fire is considered suspicious.
