CLEVELAND - Two bicyclist avoided serious injury when they were involved in two separate incidents with cars late Monday night.

The first happened just before 11 p.m. when a driver cut off a bicyclist near West 67th Street and Detroit Avenue. According to Cleveland EMS, the rider was cut off by the driver and crashed. The rider’s injuries were not serious, and the driver of the car left the scene.

The second incident happened just before midnight on West 25th Street at the entrance ramp to I-71 West.

Cleveland police confirmed to NewsChannel5 that a car and bicyclist were involved in a crash, but information on injuries was not available.
