CLEVELAND - A trial begins Wednesday for one of three suspects accused in the fatal shooting of Christopher Johnson, 29.
Deante Kidd was arrested for his alleged involvement in the March 14 fatal shooting on W. 98th Street.
During the incident, three males shot Christopher Johnson in the head while he was driving. He then crashed into a home and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kidd goes on trial Wednesday for aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and having weapons while under disability.
Also Wednesday, the two remaining suspects will have court appearances.
Javonte Hodges and John C. Johnson are both scheduled for pretrial hearings. The two males are also charged with aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and having weapons while under disability.
