CLEVELAND - When it comes to hot dog eating contests, people often wonder how many can one stomach?
Well, that's what Tower City Center was looking for -- one true champion at Nathan's 27th International Hot Dog Eating Contest.
Nine men and one woman came out of the gates, shoving dogs down there throats while grabbing the next one off their plate. All within a 10 minute time limit.
The top finishers earned a chance to compete in Coney Island on July 4.
The winner of the men's competition was Crazy Legs Conti from New York City. He scarfed down just shy of 26 dogs.
"It's a taste of victory," said Crazy Legs Conti.
Taking the first place honor for the woman was Molly Nemunaitis of Gates Mills. She crammed down a total of 10 hot dogs and also advances to New York City where she'll face off with other top finishers in the Coney island contest.
