CLEVELAND - A Cleveland man accused of child rape was arrested Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force took 30-year-old Eugene Yates, wanted by Cleveland police for rape, into custody.
Yates allegedly raped a child over the course of several years before it was reported to police.
Investigators discovered Yates moved from his last known address to one in the 1000 block of East 141st Street and found him there, where he was arrested without incident.
Yates was then turned over to the Cleveland Police Department and taken to the Cleveland City Jail.
