Police: Gambling argument leads to three people shot on Cleveland’s east side

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police have taken a suspect into custody following a shooting at East 129th Street and Iroquois Avenue at approximately 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said three men were shot by a 22-year-old man, possibly because of an argument over a gambling/dice game.

Two victims went to University Hospitals ER and one went to Cleveland Clinic ER. One was shot in the arm, another in the hip and the third was grazed.  

The suspect was arrested as he attempted to flee by car, police said.

There is no further information at this time.
