Six hurt in two-car crash in Cleveland on Thanksgiving

CLEVELAND - Six people were injured during a crash on Woodhill Avenue in Cleveland on Thanksgiving.

The crash happened at about 8:27 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Sophia Avenue.

Cleveland police a Hyundai, with three children inside, was going southbound when it rear ended a Cobalt stopped at a red light. After the crash, the driver of the Hyundai ran from the scene, leaving behind the three passengers.

The three adults in the Cobalt were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center, while paramedics took the kids in the other car to Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.

Officers searched the area for the driver, but came up with nothing.
