CLEVELAND - One person was hit in the leg when shots were fired at a Cleveland RTA bus Monday night.

Cleveland police said it happened around 10:30 p.m. at East 105th Street and Ashbury Avenue. Four juveniles were firing weapons and a RTA bus was caught in the crossfire, according to Jerry Masek of RTA,

Six bullet holes could be seen in the side of the bus, which later sat on the Cleveland Clinic’s campus on Euclid Avenue.

One person was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition for a gunshot wound to the leg, Cleveland EMS said. Another person was injured, but not shot and is also in stable condition. Both victims were passengers on the bus.

A third RTA rider complained of chest pains and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made.

Cleveland and RTA police are investigating the incident at this time.
