RTA police investigate hot coffee attack on Cleveland bus

CLEVELAND - RTA police are investigating another attack on a pair of RTA employees.

According to RTA officials, an RTA driver and a second RTA employee were attacked around 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Cedar, University loop station.

An angry man reportedly tossed hot coffee on the RTA workers before taking off on foot.

The RTA workers were transported to the Cleveland Clinic for treatment.

RTA police are investigating and checking RTA surveillance video, hoping it will lead them to a suspect.
