CLEVELAND - A car and RTA bus crashed on Cleveland's east side Friday morning.

RTA said the crash happened at 5:53 a.m. at East 116th Street and Union Avenue.

They said they believe a car ran the red light and collided with RTA bus #15.

Six people claimed injury, four were taken to hospitals and three were then transferred to MetroHealth Medical Center, according to RTA.

Their conditions were not specified.

One person, the bus operator, was treated and released.

An investigation into the crash is under way.
