The Theatrical Grill on “Short Vincent” for years was THE place…

CLEVELAND - Fifteen years old already? The Rock and Rock Hall of Fame celebrates its birthday and we send a video birthday card with a look at WEWS coverage of the event.
Nostalgia isn't what it used to be. A funny line, but true when you think of 'vintage' video being from the not so long ago year of 1995.
We open with an Alan DePetro piece looking at the timeline of building the museum. I had forgotten the original plan for the hall was to build behind Tower City on the Cuyahoga River.
The planned $19 million price tag was quite a bargain, it didn't come true either.
A couple things caught my attention in the DePetro story, North Coast Harbor with no buildings and I.M. Pei describing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum building as a "glass tent."
The second story is from reporter Jackie McLean on star watch. Yoko Ono, Little Richard, Paul Shaffer and Casey Kasem are a few she spots.
Finally, a clip from a Leon Bibb piece with sound bites from Mayor Mike White and Governor George Voinovich.
Enjoy.
