EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio - Protesters gathered again to try to show Cleveland Clinic officials they are hoping to stop the closure of the trauma center at Huron Hospital in East Cleveland.

This is one of many protests Cleveland and East Cleveland residents have held since the announcement was made by Cleveland Clinic officials two weeks ago.

The residents were joined by Councilman Mike Polensek for support. On Wednesday, East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton and Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson joined forces to file a lawsuit against the Cleveland Clinic. Their hope is to stop the closure of the trauma center.

No court decision has been made yet.

Protesters are holding out hope that move, combined with the numerous protests, will make a difference.
