Police: Woman beaten during home invasion on Cleveland’s east side

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating a home invasion they say happened early Monday morning on the city’s east side.

A woman was severely beaten during the break-in at her home on the 12000 block of Farringdon Avenue, EMS said.

Authorities said the woman was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center and is in critical condition.

It is not known if an arrest has been made at this time.
