CLEVELAND - Police offered a revised description of the vehicle in a hit-skip crash in Cleveland that left an 81-year-old woman dead Wednesday.

The suspect vehicle was a black full size SUV, not a van, officers said Thursday. Detectives said they are working on obtaining surveillance video from area businesses.

Maxine Lobins, 81, was using a walker trying to cross the street on the 17400 block of Lorain Avenue when she was struck. Lobins was pronounced dead on arrival at Fairview Hospital.

The driver who hit her did not stop and continued eastbound on Lorain Avenue.

No arrests have been made at this time.
