CLEVELAND - A driver hit four parked cars and flipped his car while texting and driving, according to Cleveland police.
The crash happened on Cedar Avenue between East 90th and East 93rd streets in Cleveland just before 2 a.m. Wednesday.
According to police, the man who was driving admitted to them that he was texting while driving when he crashed into the four parked cars. The car came to rest on its driver side directly in front of the emergency entrance at the Cleveland Clinic.
The man was checked out in the emergency room and released with minor injuries.
Two of the four cars that were hit suffered major damage, while the other two only had minor damage.
Car parts and debris were scattered in the roadway for nearly 100 feet.
