CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating a drive-by shooting on the city’s east side Monday night.
At about 9:52 p.m., police said they responded to a shooting in the area of Linn Drive.
Police said a 23-year-old man was walking out of a store on Parkwood Drive, when a black car drove down the street and fired multiple shots, hitting the victim. The car fled the scene and the victim walked to Linn Drive, where he called 911, police said.
Officers at the scene said they were told EMS took the victim to MetroHealth Medical Center, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound to his side.
