Overnight violence: 3 people shot on Cleveland’s east side

CLEVELAND - Three people are recovering after two separate shootings on the east side of Cleveland early Saturday morning.

Cleveland Police said around midnight, a man and woman were shot near the intersection of East 146th Street and Elmhurst Avenue. Paramedics rushed both victims to MetroHealth Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

Around 2:20 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of East 89th Street and Euclid Avenue for another male who had been shot. Officers said he was taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of his injuries is unknown.
