Overnight hit-skip accident in Cleveland sends girl to hospital

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police are investigating an overnight hit-skip accident that sent a child to the hospital early Thursday morning.

Police tell NewsChannel 5, around 1:00 a.m. Thursday morning, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Shaker Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a two-car accident.

When police and paramedics arrived, only one vehicle involved in the accident remained on scene.

Paramedics transported a little girl, along with her father, to UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in the hit-skip.
