CLEVELAND - At least one man is behind bars after leading Cleveland police on a chase then crashing into tree early Monday morning.
Cleveland police tell NewsChannel5 that the driver ran a red light near the intersection of East 123rd Street and Kinsman Road shortly before 1 a.m.
When officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, the driver sped off and later crashed into a tree near East 136th Street and Svec Avenue.
Police arrested the driver at the scene. They said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the wreck.
According to Cleveland paramedics, no one was injured.
