CLEVELAND - A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection to the murder of a Cleveland clothing store owner.

U.S. Marshals and Cleveland police arrested Bernard Richardson on Wednesday. The 23-year-old has been charged with aggravated murder. 

Abou Kane, 54, was shot and killed on Jan. 5 outside of his Kinsman Avenue store, Well’s Fashion Clothing Store.

According to police, two men tried to rob Kane's store and as they were fleeing Kane tried to chase them down. During the pursuit, police said one of the men fatally shot Kane.    

Cleveland police are still searching for a second suspect connected to the crime.

A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the missing suspect in this case.
