CLEVELAND - A woman whose body was found after a mail carrier discovered a man dead outside a Cleveland apartment building has been identified.
Monica Curry, 39, of Cleveland was the female victim, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office. Curry died from gunshot wounds to her head and "left upper extremity with skull and brain injuries."
Earl Norman, 54, of Cleveland, was the man found dead. Norman died from gunshot wounds to his head and chest with "brain, skeletal and visceral injuries" according to the Medical Examiner Office.
Both deaths have been ruled as homicides.
The bodies were found at Lausche Avenue and Norwood Road, near East 63rd Street, Monday afternoon.
Norman's body was discovered outside, behind the building. While officers were searching the apartment, they found Curry upstairs.
