CLEVELAND - A fire on Cleveland’s east side claimed the life of one person Friday night, fire officials say.
The blaze happened on the second floor of a house on East 82nd Street, near Union Avenue. The lights on a Christmas tree were still on in a first-floor window.
Fire investigators and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office was at the scene.
A spokesperson from the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's office confirms that seven-year-old Jacob Hunter died in the fire.
