CLEVELAND - Only in Cleveland would a television weatherman go a little crazy during his forecast, after the Miami Heat won the NBA championship Thursday night over the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Power of 5 meteorologist Mark Johnson showed his frustration while talking about thunder and the end to Cleveland’s heat wave.

“Light rain downtown, no thunder. Son of a gun, we could have used some thunder,” Johnson said. “Thunder is not the main thing, sorry, I can’t help it. What are you going to do? It’s all weather -- heat and thunder. We could have used more Thunder. Nothing, nothing it was all Heat.”

As he tried to continue with his forecast, NewsChannel5 sports director Andy Baskin came into the camera shot and tried to tell Johnson to stop by putting his hand over Johnson's mouth. Baskin ended up blowing kisses to the camera before walking out.

But it wasn’t enough to put an end to the antics.

“No more heat. It’s going to be pleasant the next few days, at least weather-wise. Whatever outdoor plans you have -- mow the lawn, you want to cry, you want to sulk, want to curse at the wind? Outside it’s going to be beautiful."

With the broadcast going on after midnight, when the NBA game ended, Johnson said it was OK to swear that late, although he kept it clean.

Johnson did manage to keep his composure through it all, while still showing his frustration for LeBron James’ win.

Clevelanders love to hate LeBron after ditching the Cavaliers for the Heat. The Miami Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106, winning the series four games to one.
