CLEVELAND - If University Circle is the city’s premiere playground for visitors from near and far, it now has the ultimate visitors guide with the launch of its new iPhone app Tuesday.
University Circle Incorporated president Chris Ronayne said the new app allows visitors to get instant information about current exhibits, special events, nearby restaurants and attractions.
“It’s a visitor enhancement to meet the technological demand. You can find out what’s happening in real time, tell your friends where to meet you and map it all out,” he said.
And with more than 40 institutions in education, medicine, arts and culture, Ronayne said “on any given week, we put on a show.”
Now you can get all the details about any show or event on your iPhone. You can also post pictures with the app, and see the pictures being posted by others around University Circle.
Ronayne also points out that 2012 is going to be a big year for the Circle, with the development of the Uptown project at Euclid and Mayfield, along with a growing number of residents, restaurants and retailers.
The University Circle app is free through www.universitycircle.org or the iTunes store.
